A natural anti-mosquito larvicide protein
INNOTEXLARV is a 100% linen textile support, impregnated with a natural larvicide anti-mosquito protein. The word "natural" is not used lightly! This product represents a new tool of eco-responsible biological fight to protect people against mosquitoes. It is intended to effectively manage, in a targeted manner over a long period of time (4 months), mosquito breeding grounds (and more particularly the tiger mosquito) that all stagnant water receptacles represent. The advantage of this product is that once the required amount is immersed in stagnant water, the natural larvicide is released from the linen carrier for a prolonged period of time to be ingested by the mosquito larvae during their growth cycle. This eliminates the need to manage and dry out the many receptacles that can be a source of standing water. The life cycle of a mosquito
Where do mosquitoes come from?
Mosquito larvae develop in all places where water stagnates, permanently or even temporarily:- lakes, ponds, various basins, quarries, various depressions...
- coastal lagoons, salt marshes, rice fields...
- ditches, irrigation and drainage canals, rainwater collection networks...
- wastewater collection networks, lagoons...
- wells, pools, reservoirs...
- flooded crawl spaces, septic tanks, manholes...
- forest depressions, hollow tree trunks and any other collection of water of natural or anthropic origin...
What is the life cycle of a mosquito?
Mosquitoes develop in 4 stages: egg, larva, nymph and adult. They undergo this complete metamorphosis between 5 and 90 days depending on environmental conditions. At the end of 4 moults, the larvae transform into nymphs before emerging as adults.Want to know more about the use of this product?
