Crop protection and biodiversity.

The aim of 3F Innovation in Plant Health is to position itself as a major player in bio-control.

Thus, 3F Innovation’s objective is to protect crops against insect pests while protecting the environment and biodiversity.

To do so, 3F Innovation proposes solutions for the diffusion of alternative non-toxic active substances, such as attractants or repellents (e.g. pheromones, kairomones…) and natural substances (e.g. proteins, viruses…), with the aim of reducing the non-essential use of synthetic chemical pesticides. This objective is in line with the plan to reduce the use of phytopharmaceutical products in France (i.e. Ecophyto) but also in Europe.

Within this framework, 3F Innovation has developed several crop protection methods based on the use of innovative bio-gel-based dispensers that allow for the long-term diffusion of pheromones or kairomones, whether volatile (medium to very high vapor pressure), either alone or in a mixture. Studies are currently conducted in laboratory conditions or in the field.

Current market targets include all types of crops: ornamentals, orchards, vineyards….
Particularly innovative solutions for field crops are also being developed
